Sheriff Don Lowery

Don Lowery took Office on January 2nd
2009. Before being elected Sheriff, Lowery spent 30 years in the Navy.
He retired and went to work for the La Paz County Sheriff's Office as a
Deputy Sheriff, where he retired in 2005 and went to work for the
Colorado River Indian Tribes Police Department as the Homeland Security
Director, when in 2008 he decided to run for Sheriff.
Sheriff Lowery holds many military awards and local
awards while serving the Sheriff's Office and CRIT Police Department.
Sheriff Lowery is also a minister and is married with 6
children, 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
